RD Automotive has been family run for 30 years. Robin Reid, leads the workshop and his team of trusted mechanics with a deep passion for motor vehicles and trustworthy experience. Now retired, you'll still find Robin's wife Glenda around the shop with her trademark smile and helpful hand with the books.
In The Beginning...
Starting out in Salt River and offering standard maintenance such as oil changes and tire repair, RD Automotive transitioned to a full service body shop over time. In the late 90's a new wing was added for body work including custom paint jobs. Already certified in many areas, we are still growing fast.

We have a proud history of excellent work and customers service. We have remained loyal in serving our community and, in return, have been recognised through the years by the Cape Town council and local business organisations.
